Movie Jigsaw

Items needed:
- 2 sets of 3 different coloured movie posters printed on A4 paper (cut up in jigsaw pieces)
- a stool

How to play:
- give each team one set of the jigsaw pieces
- the fastest team to complete the jigsaw and sit on the stool placed in the center of the room &
- provide the title of the movie and the lead actor or actress's name wins.

Envelope Challenge

Prepared for 30 persons.

(can play during outreaches or we can start visualizing 30 members in our cg!)

f]-->Split into 2 teams (1, 2, 1, 2. . .)

Make a row. Each person in front of an envelope.

Starting from the first person to do his tasks, only after completion of task one then the next person in the line can do his own task in the envelope.

The questions in the envelope are:

• Sing the song baba black sheep.
• Solve this mathematical question: (2x4)+10+2-15=?
• Count the number of dots on this paper.
• Trace the dots on the paper to form a picture.
• Eat finish this kitkat bar.
• Fold a paper aeroplane with the materials provided.
• Slap hi-5 with everyone in your team.
• Write out your name backwards.
• Stack the eraser on top of another.
• Blow up a balloon.
• Do 5 gorilla claps.
• Get a signature from your CGL
• Put the sour sweet in your mouth for 10 seconds.
• Click the pencil lead out of the mechanical pencil.
• Fix the jigsaw together. (can get team’s help).

Piecing Love Up

this game is super fun! *haha.. ownself say own game fun*

anyway, first split cg into 2 teams.
give them 2 mins to memorise the verse:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NIV

then take away the verse from them.

next, give them the verse all chopped and jumbled up. i separated word by word printed on paper. one set for each team.

the winner is determined by how fast they pieced the entire verse together from their memory!

Newspaper Hunt

Items needed:

• 3 sets of newspaper (same edition and same day)

How to play:

• Each team will be given 1 set of newspaper
• Gamemaster will cite one piece of information that they want the team to find in the newspaper
• eg: pls tell me what was the score of last night of the match Manchester United vs Arsenal
• Team members must then find the answer from the newpaper
• the first one to run to the gamemaster showing the correct answer in the newspaper gets 1 point
• the best of 10 qns wins

How to play:

• Each team is given a piece of the puzzle as above (w/o the answers of course!)
• the first team to find the all 12 differences in the picture gets a point
• the best of 3 rounds win.

Fastest Fingers First!

Items needed:

• handphones ( 1 per person)
• bibles (1 per person)
• a stool

How to play:

• Gamemaster is to prepare 5 bible verses
• Gamemaster to give the verse to the participators (eg: Deut 8:18)
• Members are then to search for the verse in their bible and type out the full verse in the form of an SMS. (to include all punctuation and Capital letters)
• the first person to complete typing it is to sit on the stool placed in the center of the room
• Gamemaster checks typed verse with the person's bible version for errors
• the best of 5 wins

30 books of the Bible

Items needed:
Copy and Paste the text below in Microsoft Word (the paragrapth size should be size 14 and in 'verdana' font)


Can you find thirty (30) books of the Bible in the paragraph, below? Actually there are thirty-one (31) Bible names, one is a variant of an Old Testament prophet.


“This is a most remarkable puzzle. It was found by a gentleman in an airplane seat pocket, on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, keeping him occupied for hours. He enjoyed it so much, he passed it on to some friends. One friend from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Another friend studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Taylor, a columnist friend, was so intrigued by it she mentioned it in her weekly newspaper column. Another friend judges the job of solving this puzzle so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help her nerves. There will be some names that are really easy to spot. That’s a fact. Some people, however, will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. Truthfully from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or a scholar to see some of them at the worst. Research has shown that something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have in seeing the books in the paragraph. During a recent fund raising event, which featured this puzzle, the Alpha Delta Phi lemonade booth set a new record. The local paper, The Chronicle, surveyed over 200 patrons who reported that this puzzle was one of the most difficult they had ever seen. As Daniel Humana humbly puts it, “The books are all right here in plain view hidden from sight.” Those able to find all of them will hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation that may help is that books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. Also, keep in mind, that punctuation and spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete really well against those who claim to know the answers. Remember, there is no need for a mad exodus; there really are 30 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph waiting to be found. God Bless.”


How to play:
Every single player will get a piece of this paragraph story each.
They got to highlight or underline the books they have found in it within a time limit of 3-5 mins.

Winner is the person who got the most books of the Bible in the paragraph.

Who is Bunny ?

Items needed:

• soft edible Jellys

How to play:

• Every single player sits in a circle
• A bowl of jellys will be pass around to the person sitting on the right
• Whenever the bowl is passed to him/her, (s)he got to hold the jelly inside his/her mouth without chewing or swollowing the jelly.
• Each time after a jelly is put into the mouth, the player got to say out this quote "I am a funny Bunny" clearly.
• The player is out if he/she unable to say out the quote; saying not clear enough; spit out the jelly
• Winner is the last person who got the most jellys in the mouth and able to say out clearly "I am a funny Bunny".
• Do remember take a picture of the winner. His/her mouth will indeed look like a Bunny

Movies Snap

Items needed:

• 20 different movies scenes (without any title on it)
• a pen

How to play:

• Divide players to divide into 2 teams
• Each team is to choose a representative for each round
• Each round consists of 5 pictures of scenes from different movies
• Gamemaster can use laptop or print out the pictures
• The pictures are shown one at a time and once the the picture is revealed, the representative who grabs the pen has the chance to guess. Members of the team are allowed to guess as well
• The team gets a point if they guess the correct movie title or has one point deducted if they guess wrongly or cannot answer.
• If both are not able to answer after 10 secs, it will be open for answer by the other team
• After each round, the representative is changed
• The teams with the most points after 4 rounds wins the game.
